Our last day in America began as a normal school day, but we left our classes early at noon and had a quick lunch in the cafeteria. After saying goodbye to our American exchange partners, which turned out to be quite emotional, we took a 45 minute bus ride to Detroit Airport, where we started our journey back to Germany. 9 hours later and really tired, we arrived at Schiphol, Amsterdam, where we are currently waiting for our connecting flight home. What an awesome trip to the USA!
